During the summer recreation season, Polk County Conservation staff are regularly monitoring the water in Easter Lake, taking samples weekly for testing. Every week on Thursday or Friday, weekly results will be posted here.

Polk County will distribute almost $1,000,000 in county opioid settlement funds to five organizations over two years to provide supports for people with lived experience of substance use.
Do you know a child who loves princesses? Want to encourage them to dress up AND have fun exploring the outdoors at the same time? Children, ages 4-6, are invited to the park in “princess attire,” (whatever that means to them.)
