We have two and a half days of adventures for students aged 12-16 looking for a unique summer experience. We’ll spend a few days exploring and getting to know each other, then spend the night at Jester Park!
During the summer recreation season, Polk County Conservation staff are regularly monitoring the water in Easter Lake, taking samples weekly for testing. Every week on Thursday or Friday, weekly results will be posted here.
Join volunteer storyteller, Carmen Epstein, for a fun, interactive tale tailored toward children ages 2 to 6 that explores the wonders of the outdoors. During each program, participants enjoy interactive stories and an activity.
Through the pilot, Community Health Workers have been trained to provide educational sessions and early detection screenings at community-based organizations.
Participate in National Moth Week with Gina Buelow, Natural Resource Program Coordinator at ISU Polk County Extension and Outreach, to celebrate and observe the diversity of moths!
